Murdoch offers courses on various discipline in undergraduate courses. it has two campuses in Western Australia, located at Murdoch and Rockingham. In collaboration with Challenger TAFE, Murdoch University has developed and Open Learning Centre at the TAFE’s Peel Campus. The Rockingham campus features a dedicated facility for engineering and another for arts and commerce. Murdoch Institute of Technology is a registered private provider of Higher Education courses, located on Murdoch University's campus and provides courses designed to prepare students for direct entry into Murdoch University’s wide range of undergraduate courses. The Institute is a member of the Alexander Education Group (AEG) that has specialised in providing educational services at a number of levels since 1989. AEG was instrumental in the joint initiative with Murdoch University to establish the prestigious secondary school, Murdoch College, on the Murdoch University campus in 2000. The expansion of this concept to include the Murdoch Institute of Technology means that the individual learning needs of a wide range of students can now be met on one campus. Consistent with the Murdoch University ethos of providing equity to all wishing to gain a tertiary education, it has collaborated with AEG to establish Murdoch Institute of Technology to deliver the Murdoch University Preparation Course (MUPC) and a range of Diplomas equivalent to 1st year university. Murdoch Institute of Technology is the latest addition to the group of institutions that make up the Alexander Education Group, which together are registered and accredited by the appropriate Government authorities to offer courses in the tertiary, secondary and vocational sectors of education.

ECU, with five campuses, is the second largest University in Western Australia. PIBT is located on the University's Churchlands campus with access to modern, fully equipped teaching and library facilities and comfortable study areas. The leafy gardens and modern buildings of the Churchlands campus, one of the busiest ECU campuses, add to its appeal as a learning environment. The campus is only eight (8) kilometres from the city centre and is easily accessible by public transport.
PIBT in association with ECU offers University Pathway programs for students needing academic preparation before entering a University degree program. Pathways for articulation into a number of ECU Master by Coursework awards are also available.
