  INTO University of Exeter

The University of Exeter is one of the UK’s most popular universities with around eight applications for every undergraduate place. The University recently celebrated the 50th anniversary of its Royal Charter, but can trace its history back to the late 1800s. In the last 50 years Exeter has developed into a three-campus university with around 13,500 full-time students of  which around 1,500 come from over 100 countries outside the UK.

INTO University of Exeter students live and study on the Streatham Campus, which is regarded as one of the most beautiful in the UK. Our current international students are certainly happy with their experience – a recent survey of international students in the UK rated Exeter as ‘the best place to be’.

The University was recently ranked amongst the top ten universities in the UK for student satisfaction, including being ranked number one in the UK for student satisfaction in Management and Accounting/Finance. Our students tell us that the University is large enough to provide excellent study, sporting and social facilities – but not so big that you’re just a ‘face in the crowd’. Exeter’s safe and student-friendly city centre with its shops and social facilities is just a 5-minute bus or 15-minute walk away and the city is surrounded by beautiful countryside.

Requirements: Secondary Education either in their own country or in the U.K. A minimum English level of 5 in IELTS (with 5 in writing), or TOEFL 64ibt; 180cbt; 510pbt (with 3 in TWE) or equivalent is required. If students have not achieved the level required in English, they will be asked to attend our summer course as a preparation.

Start dates:  September and January. 

Graduate Certificate in Management (with English Language) 

The Graduate Certificate aims to give an introduction to modern management. It is designed as a pre-Master's course and it also functions as a stand-alone university qualification in business management. You can take this course to improve your English, or if your English is already adequate for academic study, you can choose to study management/finance modules only. If you pass the course at a good level, you are guaranteed a place on Masters programmes in business or finance - MSc International Management, MA Finance and Investment, MSc Finance and Management, MSc Marketing and Financial Services, The Exeter MBA at the University of Exeter.

Entry Requirements: Minimum entry requirements are one of the following in any subject, though business is advantageous: An undergraduate degree. The grades may be below those required for direct entry to a Masters’ course or a 3-5 year Diploma with a good average grades. Work experience is desirable.

The course runs for 9 months from January to September
