We are a single campus university with two main sites: College Lane Campus and de Havilland Campus. The two sites are less than one km apart and are linked by pathways, cycle routes and the university shuttle bus.

We are the
The University of Hertfordshire is consistently one of the highest placed modern universities in the UK and has recently been ranked 16th for engineering (The Times, 2004), and within the top 20 for business and top 10 for tourism (The Guardian, 2004).The University's School of Law is located in the historic Roman city of St. Albans about five miles from the main Hatfield campuses. Graduates from HIBT's Undergraduate Pathway in Law and the Postgraduate Pathway in Law will study for their degree here.

Entry Requirements
The entry requirements for students from
Undergraduate
All undergraduate degrees normally require the equivalent of 200 UCAS points /2 grade Bs from two Sri Lankan A levels or 240 UCAS points/3 grade Cs from three Sri Lankan A Levels.
Postgraduate
All Master’s degrees normally require successful completion of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject area with an average grade of 60% or above.
English language
Master’s degrees within the
6.5 IELTS/ 580/92 TOEFL (or equivalent)
6.0 IELTS/ 550/79 TOEFL (or equivalent) plus completion of the University’s four week pre-sessional English course.
